Excellent MBA-level text:

This book is a required text for my International Financial Management class in my MBA study. It has good coverage, clear explanations of sophisticated concepts and models, and good organization of contents, an definitely excellent MBA-level text. It also includes some CFA level II problems at the end of some chapters.
Please note that this book is only suitable for those who are already familiar with Corporate Finance and Economics. Without such preliminary knowledge in mind, one may find it difficult... more info

Strewn with errors and outdated information:

The 5th edition, while published in 2009, still has problems referring to trades in 1987 in the current tense and tables from 1990 IMF reports. They discuss Deutschmark and Dutch guilder transactions as if they still exist. They have mutual fund graphs with 1977-1986 data. The power point slides have errors that do not tie to the examples from the text. The authors need to pay closer attention to updating, or hire someone else to do it for them. This book was in good to great quality. In terms of the texttbook's contents; I couldn't have asked for a better resource to prepare me for a career in international financial management.
